Talking Headless · September 23
I am in India this month and I am still thinking about Talking Headless. That is the point of a good show. It follows you on vacation.
We go live today, Wednesday, September 23, at a time built for APAC and MEA, not for the East Coast lunch hour.
- 12:00 noon IST
- 4:30 p.m. AEST
- 8:30 a.m. CEST
If you are in the United States, skip the alarm. Watch the recording on the LinkedIn event page or the YouTube playlist.
Most Talking Headless conversations start in North America and travel east as a replay. This one starts in India and travels west. That is rare enough to be worth an hour if you work with analysts anywhere from Mumbai to Melbourne to Dubai.
Here is who is showing up.
Sudeshna Mukherjee runs AR as a relationship business, not a mention machine
Sudeshna leads Global Analyst and Advisor Relations and Public Relations at Mastek. She has more than 20 years in marketing communications and AR across technology, AI, cloud, and digital transformation. Before Mastek she ran AR at Capgemini and Datamatics.
She writes in public about the work itself: how you talk to analysts, how you talk to executives, and how you stay human while doing both. That combination is harder than it sounds. Plenty of AR programs can get a vendor into a report. Fewer can turn that placement into a conversation a sales team can use. Connect with Sudeshna on LinkedIn.
Amit Dengle measures the parts of influence most scorecards skip
Amit is Founder and Chief Analyst of PlanckPoint Research. He has 23-plus years in strategy, research, and transformation, including technology and sourcing programs totaling more than $6 billion in contract value.
He is building measures that standard market frameworks often miss: Trust Currency, Shapes of Trust, and Experience Confidence. For more than 15 years he has coached AR leaders on engagement, positioning, and turning external influence into a business result you can defend in a budget meeting. If your program still reports only mentions and Magic Quadrant cells, bring a notebook. Connect with Amit on LinkedIn.
What we will talk about
How AR work changes when the tech narrative moves faster than the briefing calendar.
How communications and brand strategy travel when the buyer, the analyst, and the vendor sit in different time zones.
What an APAC view adds to conversations that usually start in the United States.
Why I keep doing this show
Paul Greenberg and Brent Leary built Talking Headless. I took over as host from Paul. The job is the same every month: put AR professionals and analysts on a stage they rarely get, and let marketing leaders hear what the function actually does before a deal closes.
Every episode teaches me something I did not have when I sat down. This one should do that for people who rarely get a live slot at noon Eastern.
I would put this in front of every CMO and every product and go-to-market lead who still treats analysts as a channel. AR shapes how your company gets described before procurement opens a spreadsheet.
Watch the back catalog this morning
Every past episode is on YouTube. The show is also on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Watch one this morning if you can and you will show up already fluent.
What to Do This Morning
- If you are in APAC or MEA, join live at 12:00 noon IST on the LinkedIn event page.
- If you are in the Americas, skip the alarm and block 30 minutes after you wake up for the recording.
- Send the event link to one AR colleague who never gets a live slot at a US-friendly hour.
